Regional Sales Manager - Southern California

Cannabistry Labs, home to Tough Mama, MISTIFI, and Root of It All brands, is seeking a Regional Sales Executive to provide “Hunter” Sales to the Los Angeles and Long Beach areas of the Southern California Region. The RSE will manage the territory by sales achieving goals, establishing new business, and developing buyer relationships. The RSE will help deliver company assigned KPI’s, and help establish and improve buyer relationships at the dispensary level.

• Grow CPG products portfolio retail placements and revenue within your assigned region
• Build and execute comprehensive sales and marketing partnerships with assigned accounts
• Generate qualified leads by means of web research, attending expos, events, networking, etc.
• Travel to dispensaries to present product portfolio to buyers
• Assess customer needs, answer questions, and assist with ordering process
• Generate and develop pipeline, follow up as necessary
• Work closely with brand partners to make new placements and expand brand presence inside assigned accounts
• Meet individual goals and collaborate with other territory managers and regional sales manager to successfully meet team goals
• Manage revenue and distribution targets and reporting for respective territory and identify opportunity and gaps of growth with the current portfolio.
• Create and maintain account information in Distru CRM
• Extensive travel and driving are essential duties and function of this position


• Professional B2B cannabis sales experience
• Strong B2B relationship building skills
• Proven history of increasing revenue and product assortment in high-volume, key account customers
• Strong conversational communication skills
• Experience maintaining CRM software
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Self-starter that can work independently
• Driven and motivated to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment

What we are looking for…
• Associate or Bachelors’ degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 3 years sales experience in CPG cannabis brand is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence and competitive drive
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
• Must display excellent customer service skills
• Proficiency using Google Suite and Microsoft Office
• Experience using distribution ERP is a plus
• Must have experience handling high volume incoming calls, emails, text messages
• Experience handling high volume sales is required
• Must display excellent communication skills, interpersonal, written, and verbal
• Enthusiasm for and prior work experience in the cannabis industry is a plus
• Experience working with well-recognized, premium brand company is strongly preferred
• Experience running a territory of 100+ accounts with managing a portfolio of leading industry brands is strongly preferred
